Fredrik Ström
Otto Fredrik Ström (10 July 1880 – 23 November 1948) was a Swedish politician, editor and a prolific writer. He held a seat in the Riksdag from 1916 to 1921 and from 1930 to 1948.Lars BjörlinOtto Fredrik Ström Riksarkivet.se. Retrieved 22 August 2013 He joined the Swedish Social Democratic Party and in 1916 was elected to the Riksdag. However, in 1917 Ström broke with Hjalmar Branting and sided with the far left of the party headed by the communists Zeth Höglund and Ture Nerman. The group supported the Bolsheviks in Russia and would soon become the (original) Swedish Communist Party. Fredrik Ström was, with Ture Nerman and Stockholm Mayor Carl Lindhagen, part of a small delegation of Swedish communists who greeted Lenin during his short visit in Stockholm in April 1917. Fabian Månsson
Karl Fabian Månsson (1872–1938) was a Swedish politician. In his youth, Månsson used the pseudonym ''Dacke'', a name he borrowed from the 16th century peasant rebel Nils Dacke. Fabian Månsson was born in a poor family in Hasslö, an island in the Blekinge archipelago. His father was a fisherman. Fabian Månsson worked as a navvy and became active as a radical in the Social Democratic Party, for which he also worked as an agitator, a journalist, and a poet. In 1912 he was elected to the lower house of the Riksdag where he was reelected until his death. When the Social Democratic Party was split in 1917, Månsson who always opposed centralistic rule joined the radical, revolutionary group which formed the ''Social Democratic Left Party''. However, Månsson opposed communism and left the new party when its leader, Zeth Höglund, moved the party into joining the Communist International. Anna Maria Katarina "Kata" Dalström, née Carlberg (18 December 1858 – 11 December 1923), was a Swedish socialist and writer. She belonged to the leading socialist agitators and leftist writers in contemporary Sweden, and has been referred to as "the mother of the Swedish socialist working class movement". Early life Kata Dalström was born as Anna Maria in Emtöholm, Västervik Municipality, Kalmar County, into the wealthy family of professor Johan Oskar Carlberg and Maria Augusta Carlswärd. Her personality, considered unruly for a girl at the time, earned her the contemporary Swedish moniker , meaning 'intrepid'. She was educated at the girls' school of Emilie Risberg in Örebro from 1868 to 1872, and studied in preparation for a ''studentexamen''. Stalinism is the means of governing and Marxist-Leninist policies implemented in the Soviet Union from 1927 to 1953 by Joseph Stalin.
