Freddie Oversteegen
Freddie Nanda Dekker-Oversteegen (6 September 1925 – 5 September 2018) was a Dutch resistance member during the occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. Early life Freddie Oversteegen was born 6 September 1925 in the village of Schoten, Netherlands. She had an older sister, Truus Menger-Oversteegen. She and her family lived on a barge. Before the war started in the Netherlands, the Oversteegen family hid people from Lithuania in the hold of their ship. After the divorce of her parents, Oversteegen was raised by her mother. She moved from the barge to a small apartment. Her mother later remarried and gave birth to her half-brother. The family lived in poverty. World War II During World War II, the Oversteegen family hid a Jewish couple in their home. Driehuis
Driehuis is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Velsen, and lies about 8 km north of Haarlem. History It was first mentioned in 1680 as Drie Huysen, and means "three houses". Driehuizen developed in the 19th century at an intersection of roads. It is mainly a commuter's town. The Catholic St Engelmundus Church is a three aisled basilica-like church constructed between 1893 and 1894 in Gothic Revival style. Estate Schoonenberg was originally the 18th century gardener's house of the old estate. The old estate was demolished in 1829 and the gardener's house was extended in chalet style in 1859 and 1869. Heart Attacks
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw. Often it occurs in the center or left side of the chest and lasts for more than a few minutes. The discomfort may occasionally feel like heartburn. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, feeling faint, a cold sweat or feeling tired. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Women more often present without chest pain and instead have neck pain, arm pain or feel tired. Among those over 75 years old, about 5% have had an MI with little or no history of symptoms.
