Frank Aarebrot
Frank Henrik Aarebrot (19 January 1947 – 9 September 2017) was a Norwegian political scientist, political commentator, and professor of comparative politics. Among the most quoted and popular academics in the Norwegian press, he became better known during his later years for his televised "marathon lectures" and his recurring role in coverage of national and international elections on Norwegian television. Biography Early life and education Aarebrot was born in Bergen on 19 January 1947, the only child of civil engineer Knut Aarebrot (1911–84) and housewife Borgny Hansen (1912-2003), and grew up in the working class area of Kronstad outside Bergen. After finishing his examen artium in 1966, he enrolled at the University of Bergen, where he became the assistant of Stein Rokkan in 1969. Bergen
Bergen (), historically Bjørgvin, is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. , its population is roughly 285,900. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. Kristopher Schau
Kristopher Hugh Martin Schau (born 12 August 1970) is a Norwegian musician, TV host, comedian, author, and songwriter. He was born in Oslo. Radio and television shows Schau is known from several radio shows (most of them also with his brother Alexander Schau) including ''XL'', ''Karate'', and ''Et Norge I Krig''. Bård Tufte Johansen
Bård Tufte Johansen (born 19 June 1969 in Skien) is a Norwegian comedian. Together with Harald Eia, he has authored and participated in several successful NRK TV series, such as ''U:Natt'' (1994), starring with Monotelevision, '' Lille Lørdag'' (1995), '' Åpen post'' (1998–2002), '' Uti vår hage'' (2003), '' Team Antonsen'' (2004), '' Tre brødre som ikke er brødre'' (2005), ''Ut i vår hage 2'' (2008) and ''Storbynatt'' (2010). Harald Meldal Eia (born 9 February 1966) is a Norwegian comedian, and sociologist. In recent years, Eia has also made TV-documentaries and written books. Eia became a household name in Norway in the mid-90s and has since then been one of country´s most well-known comedians. Comedian
A comedian or comic is a person who seeks to entertain an audience by making them laugh. This might be through jokes or amusing situations, or acting foolish (as in slapstick), or employing prop comedy. A comedian who addresses an audience directly is called a stand-up comedian. A popular saying often attributed to Ed Wynn attempts to differentiate the two terms: "A comic says funny things; a comedian says things funny." The Berlin Wall (german: Berliner Mauer, ) was a guarded concrete barrier that encircled West Berlin from 1961 to 1989, separating it from East Berlin and East Germany (GDR).
