Francis Kimemia
Francis Thuita Kimemia (born 27 October 1957) is a Kenyan politician and the former governor for Nyandarua county August 2017 - August 2022. Education Kimemia was born in Gituamba Village, Githerioni, Lari Constituency, Kiambu County, Kenya to Joseph Kimemia Migwi and Maria Nunga Kimemia. He attended HGM Uplands Primary School, Nyandarua High School, and Kagumo High School. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Nairobi, a BA in Public Administration from Moi University, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Southern African Management Institute. Career He ran for governor of Nyandarua and served as secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya. He served the Ministry of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security of Kenya in various roles from 1 January 2002 to 1 January 2012. Lari Constituency
Lari Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya, located forty kilometers from Nairobi along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway (A104 road). Lari is located in the Western part of Kiambu County. The constituency was established in 1966. Lari borders Kinangop to the North, Limuru to the South, Githunguri and Gatundu North constituencies to the east and Naivasha Constituency to the west. Lari is one of the 12 sub-counties in Kiambu County, and is further divided to five wards each electing a representative to the Kiambu County Assembly. According to the 2009 Census Lari has a population of 123,895 people. The constituency is predominantly rural. The main towns in the area are Kijabe, Kinale, Kimende and Nyambari. Kiambu County is a county in the former Central Province of Kenya. Its capital is Kiambu and its largest town is Thika. Kiambu County is the second most populous after Nairobi County. Kiambu County borders Nairobi and Kajiado Counties to the South, Machakos to the East, Murang'a to the North and North East, Nyandarua to the North West, and Nakuru to the West and has a population of 2,417,735. Nyandarua County
Nyandarua County is a Counties of Kenya, County in the former Central Province (Kenya), Central Province of Kenya. Its capital and largest town is Ol Kalou. Formerly the capital was Nyahururu, which is now part of the Laikipia County. Nyandarua County has population of 596,268 and an area of 3,304 km2. The county is located on the northwestern part of the old Central Province, and contains the Aberdare Ranges. The county was split into two in 2007: Nyandarua North District and Nyandarua South District. Amos Muhinga Kimunya (born March 6, 1962), is a Kenyan politician and the Majority Leader of the National Assembly of Kenya under the Jubilee Party and Member of Parliament for Kipipiri Constituency, He was once Kenya's Minister of Trade. He was Minister of Finance from 2006 to July 2008, when he resigned due to the Grand Regency Hotel scandal. Previously, he was the Minister of Lands and Settlement. Kipipiri Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of five constituencies in Nyandarua County. The constituency has four wards, all of which elect MCAs for the Nyandarua County. The constituency was established for the 1988 elections. The constituency borders Olkalou, Kinangop and Gilgil Constituencies. The inhabitants of the constituency are largely of Kikuyu extraction. Its biggest town is Miharati, which acts as the subcounty headquarters. The constituency is largely poor, with a poverty index of below the national average.
