FC Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk was a professional Ukrainian football team in the Ukrainian Second League since 2004 till 2012. History The Prykarpattia club was originally known as Fakel Ivano-Frankivsk, a Ukrainian football club based in Ivano-Frankivsk. The club was formed out of a school team of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. After gained the promotion from the Druha Liha, the club began seeking financial support knowing that the club would not be able to be viable in the Persha Liha. On 17 July 2007, information was released to the media that FC Fakel Ivano-Frankivsk had been reformed into the FSC Prykarpattia. This reformation was to keep the historically traditional name of the team that was associated with Ivano-Frankivsk. Municipal Central Stadium "Rukh" ( uk, Міський Центральний Стадіон "Рух") is the multi-purpose central stadium of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The stadium is located at 128 Vyacheslav Chernovol Street, the city of Ivano-Frankivsk 750447. It has a capacity of 15,000 spectators and 6,500 individual plastic seats. 2011–12 Ukrainian Second League
The 2011–12 Ukrainian Second League was the 21st season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. There are two groups of competition divided by region. Both Group competitions began on July 23, 2011. The competition had a winter break from November 6, 2012 and until April 2, 2012. The group competitions will complete on 28 May 2012. The championship game was played between the top teams of each group competition on 2 June 2012. Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format. In recent years, a conditional replay game was introduced to avoid penalty shootouts. Cup draws may be conducted for two consecutive rounds, but usually occur before each following round.
