Future Perfect (Loadstar Album)
''Future Perfect'' is the debut studio album by British production duo Loadstar. The album was released on 26 May 2013 through RAM Records. Loadstar appeared on DJ Target and MistaJam's BBC Radio 1Xtra shows to promote the album. They also hosted an Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. The album charted at number 168 on the UK Albums Chart and also on the dance and indie charts. Background and recording Some of the initial ideas for album tracks, such as "Eat My Tears", were created as early as 2010. "Losing You" was another of the first to be produced. The duo produced probably "over 100 tracks" since the album concept came about, but only a few made the final cut. In May 2012, the album was considered "finished" and due for October 2012 release, but the release was pushed forward to May 2013 after more tracks were produced for it. Loadstar (musical Duo)
Loadstar is music production duo from Bristol, United Kingdom. They produced predominantly drum and bass however they worked in other genres such as dubstep and electro. The duo consisted of Gavin "Xample" Harris and Nick "Lomax" Hill. They previously produced under the alias Xample & Lomax. Career 2007–2009: Record deal and formation The two artists met while Bristol-born Xample was studying sociology at Liverpool University. Lomax was one-third of the production trio Holdtight at the time. Xample booked Holdtight for a drum and bass event, and Lomax moved to Bristol shortly afterwards. Dillinja
Karl Francis, also known as Dillinja, is a British jungle/drum and bass DJ and record producer. Biography Dillinja is a prolific producer and artist within the jungle and drum and bass scene. Since 1991, Dillinja has produced a number of tracks under both that and other aliases such as Suburban Knight, Cybotron, Trinity, Capone, Basic Influence, and The Specialist. He set up his sound system and record label Valve Recordings with long-time producing partner Lemon D in 2001 and it made its debut at Fabric nightclub in London, and subsequently travelled across the UK and Worldwide. DC Breaks are a British drum and bass production duo made up of Dan Havers and Chris Page. After being discovered and nurtured by Scotland's DJ Kid, they went on to sign a record deal with RAM Records, run by the renowned producer Andy C. They have produced numerous remixes for major record labels, including artists such as Tinie Tempah, I Blame Coco, Paloma Faith, Example, Esmée Denters and Rox. Hadouken! are a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, writer and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice.
