Fredrik Bergström (sailor)
Carl Fredrik Bergström (born 9 July 1990) is a Swedish competitive sailor. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the men's 470, where he, with partner Anton Dahlberg, finished in 6th place. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, he and Dahlberg won a silver medal in the men's 470. Bergström was born in Onsala, and represents the Royal Swedish Yacht Club. Sailing career 470 Olympic silver medal with Dahlberg (2013–2021) Fredrik Bergström, the 2011 470 Junior World Championship champion, joined forces with two-time Olympian Anton Dahlberg for a 2016 Summer Olympics campaign. Onsala
Onsala () is a locality situated in Kungsbacka Municipality, Halland County, Sweden, with 11,951 inhabitants in 2010. It is also a 14 km long peninsula on the west coast of Sweden, facing Kattegat, south of Gothenburg. Will Ryan (sailor)
William Ryan (born 23 December 1988) is an Australian sailor and an Olympic champion and five time World champion in the men's 470 event with Mathew Belcher. Sailing career Will Ryan experienced sailing when only two days old when he watched the 1988 Sydney to Hobart race in his grandfather's boat with his family. In his early years he was inspired by his grandfather and sailed in an old Sabot dinghy on Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. At the age of 11, Ryan competed in his first race with the Toronto Amateur Sailing Club. Ryan competed in the Laser Radial class at the 2006 Youth Sailing World Championships. Mathew "Mat" Belcher, (born 20 September 1982) is an Australian sailor and a two-time Olympic gold medalist in the 470 dinghy, who currently competes with crew Will Ryan. In 2011, following World Championship and World Cup success, he and Malcolm Page were shortlisted by the International Sailing Federation for the ISAF World Sailor of the Year Awards. Belcher was selected as the Australian flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics after winning a second gold medal and third successive medal in the 470 class. Belcher is regarded as the most successful Australian Olympic sailor in history with two gold and one silver medal, adding to his 10 world titles.
