Frederiksberg Idrætspark
Frederiksberg Idrætspark, also known as Frederiksberg Stadion, is a multi-purpose stadium in Frederiksberg, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark. It is home to FA 2000, who currently compete in the Danish 2nd Division. It is also home to Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB), a parent club to FC Copenhagen, and the latter also use the stadium as a training ground. History The groundbreaking of Frederiksberg Idrætspark occurred in 1919, but only in 1924 did the stadium host events. The venue was officially inaugurated on 21 June 1927, and had already the previous years been utilised as a ground for football by clubs such as Brønshøj Boldklub. During the glory days of Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB) in the 1970s and 1980s, Frederiksberg Idrætspark hosted European matches, which saw clubs such as Dinamo Tbilisi, Dundee United and Fortuna Sittard guest the stadium in the 1977–78 UEFA Cup and 1984–85 European Cup Winners' Cup, respectively. Frederiksberg
Frederiksberg () is a part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is an independent municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality, separate from Copenhagen Municipality, but both are a part of the region of Copenhagen. It occupies an area of less than 9 km2 and had a population of 103,192 in 2015. It is the most densely populated municipality in denmark. Frederiksberg is an enclave surrounded by Copenhagen Municipality. 1977–78 UEFA Cup
The 1977–78 UEFA Cup was the seventh season of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by UEFA. The final was played over two legs at the Stade Armand-Cesari, Furiani, France, and at the Philips Stadion, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It was won by PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands, who defeated Bastia of France by an aggregate result of 3–0 to claim their first UEFA Cup title. Playing in their first European final, PSV Eindhoven became the latest of the Grote Drie trio of big Dutch teams to win a European title. Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass, used in sports arenas, residential lawns and commercial applications that traditionally use grass. Michael Laudrup (, born 15 June 1964) is a Danish professional Association football, football coach and former player. Brian Laudrup
Brian Laudrup (, born 22 February 1969) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a winger, forward or as a midfielder, and was regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation. He currently works for the various TV sports channels of Scandinavian media network, Viaplay. Laudrup also manages a football academy for marginalised youth. Brian Laudrup is the son of Danish former footballer Finn Laudrup and the younger brother of footballer Michael Laudrup. Finn Laudrup
Finn Laudrup (born 31 July 1945) is a Danish former association football player who played as a forward. He represented a number of Danish clubs and played professionally with Wiener Sport-Club in Austria. He played 19 matches and scored six goals for the Denmark national football team. He is the father of former Denmark national team players Michael Laudrup and Brian Laudrup. Club career On club level, Finn Laudrup started at Vanløse in 1962 before he moved abroad to play professionally in Austria with Wiener Sportclub in 1968.
