Freddy (film)
''Freddy'' is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film directed by Shashanka Ghosh. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Jay Shewakramani. Starring Kartik Aaryan (in the title role) and Alaya F, the film premiered 2 December 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. Plot Dr. Freddy Ginwala is a shy and socially awkward dentist in Mumbai. He goes on multiple dates with women, only to get rejected every time. His only friend is his pet tortoise, Hardy, and he also spends his leisure time working on his miniature planes. When he was a child, his father killed his mother and then committed suicide. His aunt, Persis, has been his guardian since then. At a relative's wedding, Freddy sees a girl named Kainaaz and awkwardly approaches her to talk to her, but is pushed away by her rich husband, Rustom, who was handling the catering for the wedding. Shashanka Ghosh
Shashanka Ghosh is an Indian filmmaker and writer. As a director, his notable works include the commercially successful films like '' Khoobsurat'' and '' Veere Di Wedding''. As a writer, he penned the story for '' Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II'', he was also the director of the film. Ghosh was the Creative Director of Channel V Channel '' ("V" as in the letter, not the Roman numeral "5") is a Chinese and former Asian pay television musical network originally launched by Star TV Hong Kong (now Disney Networks Group Asia Pacific).
