François Blanc (; 12 December 1806 – 27 July 1877), nicknamed "The Magician of Homburg" and "The Magician of Monte Carlo", was a French entrepreneur and operator of casinos, including the Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco. His daughter, Marie-Félix Blanc, Marie-Félix, married Prince Roland Bonaparte. Early life François and his twin brother Louis were born on 12 December 1806. François, Baron Englert (; born 6 November 1932) is a Belgian theoretical physicist and 2013 Nobel Prize laureate. Englert is professor emeritus at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he is a member of the Service de Physique Théorique. He is also a Sackler Professor by Special Appointment in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Tel Aviv University and a member of the Institute for Quantum Studies at Chapman University in California. François de Klerk (born 19 October 1991) known by his nickname Faf, is a South African professional rugby union player who plays scrum-half for Japan Rugby League One club Yokohama Canon Eagles and the South Africa national team. François Couturier (born 2 May 1950 in Fleury-les-Aubrais, Orléans) is a French Jazz piano, jazz pianist. Biography Couturier began learning piano at the age of six. A year after earning his degree in classical music, classical piano and musicology in 1977, he met Jacques Thollot's quartet bassist Jean-Paul Céléa, with whom he formed a duo. Between 1981 and 1983, Couturier toured with John McLaughlin (musician), John McLaughlin, with whom he also recorded. Over time, he played with French jazz musicians such as André Ceccarelli, Eddy Louiss, Michel Portal, François Jeanneau and with Daniel Humair. François Coulomb the Elder was a French naval architect and builder of warships (''ingénieur-constructeur''), the son of Laurent Coulomb. François Coulomb was born on 24 January 1654 at La Ciotat, and died on 20 March 1717 at Toulon. He was first known on the archives under the name of "Coulomb fils" because he collaborated with his father, Laurent Coulomb, in constructing naval ships; then he became "François père" because his own son, also named François, worked in collaboration with him. In 1680, he occupied himself with the school of construction at Toulon, and wrote a manual of construction. He took the place of his father at Toulon, when the latter was named constructor at Lorient in 1690. François Coty
François Coty (; born Joseph Marie François Spoturno ; 3 May 1874 – 25 July 1934) was a French perfumer, businessman, newspaper publisher, politician and patron of the arts. He was the founder of the Coty, Coty perfume company, today a multinational. He is considered the founding father of the modern perfume industry. In 1904, his first success, fragrance ''La Rose Jacqueminot'' launched his career. He soon started exporting perfumes from France, and by 1910 he had subsidiaries in Moscow, London and New York. François Corbier (17 October 1944 – 1 July 2018) was a French television presenter and songwriter. Early life Corbier was born as Alain Roux in 1944 in Paris. Career Corbier began his career as a songwriter in Parisian cabarets, where he worked from 1962 to 1982. He became a television presenter on '' Récré A2'', a programme with singer Dorothée on Antenne 2, in 1982. He was a co-presenter of ''Club Dorothée'' on TF1 from 1987 to 1997. Corbier authored several songs, including ''Le Nez de Dorothée'' in 1986. He released several albums, including ''Vieux Lion'' in 2015. Corbier performed alongside Dorothée at the Palais Bercy and Olympia in 2010. He authored his autobiography in 2012. François Scarborough Clemmons (born April 23, 1945) is an American singer, actor, writer and teacher. He is known for his appearances as "Officer Clemmons" on the PBS television series ''Mister Rogers' Neighborhood'' from 1968 to 1993. Early life and education Clemmons was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. When it was discovered that he had an excellent singing voice, he began performing locally at church functions. He became choir director of his church at the age of 10. His first songs were the spirituals of pre-Civil War America, passed down to him by his mother. He soon branched out across genres, singing with various community groups. For a while, he was the lead singer of a rock 'n' roll group called the Jokers.
