Francisco Pérez Sanchez (born 22 July 1978 in Murcia) is a Spanish professional cross-country mountain biking, mountain biker for Wild Wolf Trek Pro Racing, and a former road bicycle racer for several teams including UCI ProTeam . 2005 Vuelta A España
These are the results for the 2005 edition of the Vuelta a España cycling race. Roberto Heras was the original champion but the win was awarded to Russian Denis Menchov after Heras tested positive in a doping test. Heras made an appeal through the Spanish courts, which ruled in his favour in June 2011 and this decision was upheld in the Spanish supreme court in December 2012; the Spanish cycling federation was not yet sure how to act, but said that the most likely result is that Heras will be reinstated. The 2006 Giro d'Italia was the 89th edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's Grand Tours. It began in the Belgian city of Seraing with a individual time trial. The race came to a close with a mass-start road stage that stretched from Museo del Ghisallo to Milan. Twenty two teams entered the race that was won by the Italian Ivan Basso of the team. Second and third were the Spain José Enrique Gutiérrez and Italian Gilberto Simoni. Basso, riding for , won the Giro in dominant fashion.
