The Czech National Football League (, ''FNL''), known as Chance Národní Liga due to sponsorship reasons, is the second level professional association football league in the Czech Republic. Before 2013 it was known as 2. liga or Druhá liga. The top team each season is eligible for promotion to the Czech First League, while the second and third placed teams enter play offs for possible promotion. The league replaced the I.ČNL (I. Česká národní liga; First Czech National League), which had been established following the end of the nationwide Czechoslovak Second League in 1977. The league became known as simply ''II. liga'' (Second League) in 1993 following the establishment of the Czech Republic as an independent state. Structure There are 16 clubs in the FNL. SFC Opava
Slezský FC Opava is a professional football club based in Opava, Czech Republic. The club plays in the Czech National Football League, the second of Czech football after being relegated from the Czech First League at the end of the 2020–21 season. History The club was in the Czech First League at the top tier of Czech football from 1995 to 2000, getting relegated in 2000 but returning to the top flight the following season in 2001. MFK Chrudim is a Czech football club located in Chrudim. It plays in the Czech National Football League, which is in the second tier of the Czech Republic football league system. History The club played in the fourth level of football in 1994–1998, in the third level in 1998–2004 and again in fourth level in 2004–2011. Sportovní areál Drnovice is a football stadium in Drnovice, in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The game hosted two friendly matches of the Czech Republic national football team. History The stadium opened in 1955. It was used in the Czech First League between 1993 and 2002, and again in the 2004–05 season. MFK Vyškov
MFK Vyškov is a Czech football club located in the town of Vyškov in the South Moravian Region. From 2021 to 2025, it played in the Czech National Football League, the second level of Czech football. Sezimovo Ústí (; ) is a town in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,100 inhabitants. Etymology The name literally means "Sezima's river mouth". FC Silon Táborsko is a football club located in Tábor, Czech Republic. It plays in the Czech National Football League (2nd tier). History The club was formerly located at Soukenik stadium in nearby Sezimovo Ústí. Lower squads of the team, as well the youth teams still play their games there. In June 2011, FK Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí owner Jiří Smrž bought the rights to neighbouring team FK Tábor and at the end of 2011, the club announced that they would compete from 2012, including the remainder of the season in progress, as FC MAS Táborsko.
