Forbidden Waters
''Forbidden Waters'' is a 1926 American silent comedy film directed by Alan Hale and starring Priscilla Dean, Walter McGrail, and Dan Mason. Plot As described in a film magazine review, J. Austin Bell, a divorced man, promises his former wife Nancy not to marry again unless she approves of the woman. He becomes infatuated with Ruby, an adventuress, who vows to win him from the courting of his former wife. The wife is aided by a man who has been robbed of some letters by the adventuress and her confederate. Alan Hale Sr
Alan Hale Sr. (born Rufus Edward Mackahan; February 10, 1892 – January 22, 1950) was an American actor and director. He is best remembered for his many character roles, in particular as a frequent sidekick of Errol Flynn, as well as films supporting Lon Chaney, Wallace Beery, Douglas Fairbanks, James Cagney, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, and Ronald Reagan. Hale was usually billed as Alan Hale and his career in film lasted 40 years. His son, Alan Hale Jr., also became an actor and remains most famous for playing "the Skipper" on the television series ''Gilligan's Island''. Casson Ferguson
Casson Ferguson (May 29, 1891 – February 12, 1929) was an American film actor of the silent era. He appeared in more than 50 films between 1917 and 1928. His father was John J. Ferguson, a jeweler in Alexandria, Louisiana. Early in his career Casson was a member of the Mantel Shakespeare Players in New Orleans before moving to California to pursue a movie career, first with the Selig Company, then as a leading man. In 1928 he toured Europe and performed as a singer and actor in London and Paris. Returning to California, he married Catherine Mallon. Not long after his marriage, he died of pneumonia at the age of 37. Two days later his wife Catherine died of pneumonia, as well as her mother soon after of pneumonia. De Sacia Mooers (November 19, 1888 – January 11, 1960) was a film actress, disputably from Los Angeles, California. She appeared in over one hundred movies in the silent film era. She was perhaps best known as the "Blonde Vamp" for her role in ''The Blonde Vampire'' in 1922. Her career ended with talking films. Early life Newspaper accounts of the era differ as to her birthplace. At the time, it was common for the various studios to exaggerate or fabricate an actor's biography to make them seem more exotic and interesting to the general public. One report contends that she was a Los Angeles native and a member of the California Saville family.
