Frank Arok
Ferenc "Frank" Arok ( sr-Cyrl, Ференц Арок, ; 20 January 1932 – 12 January 2021) was a Yugoslavian footballer and coach. Career Arok played for Jedinstvo in Yugoslavia during the 1950s before coaching. In the early 1960s Arok coached FK Novi Sad and FK Vojvodina before moving to Australia. In Australia Arok coached St George Saints, South Melbourne FC, Port Melbourne, Gippsland Falcons, and Sydney Olympic, and the Australian national team. Football At The 1988 Summer Olympics
An association football tournament was played as part of the 1988 Summer Olympics in South Korea, featuring 16 men's national teams from six continental confederations. The teams were drawn into four groups of four with each group playing a round-robin tournament. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams advanced to the knockout stage, beginning with the quarter-finals and culminating with the gold medal match at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on 1 October 1988. Before the final match, the Soviet team relocated from the Olympic Village to a Soviet steamship stationed nearby. After winning the gold medal, each player from the Soviet team received 15 thousand dollars from the Soviet government. Refik Šabanadžović
Refik Šabanadžović (born 2 August 1965) is a former Yugoslav professional footballer who played as a midfielder and defender. Born in Montenegro, at the time part of SFR Yugoslavia, Šabanadžović played internationally for Yugoslavia and unofficially for the predecessor of Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. Club career Šabanadžović began his career with a Montenegrin club FK Dečić. He was spotted there by Titograd's Budućnost and moved there shortly after. Before the 1983–84 season, following his senior debut with OFK Titograd, he moved to Sarajevo's Željezničar where he became one of the more notable Yugoslav defenders under the guidance of Ivica Osim. Dragoljub Brnović (Cyrillic: Драгољуб Брновић; born 2 November 1963) is a Montenegrin former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Srečko Katanec
Srečko Katanec (; born 16 July 1963) is a Slovenian retired football manager and player. At international level, he was capped for both the Yugoslavia and Slovenia national teams. A former midfielder, who was also capable of playing as a defender, Katanec is regarded as one of the greatest Slovenian footballers of all time, having represented Yugoslavia at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics, UEFA Euro 1984 and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. After Slovenia's independence, Katanec made five appearances for the newly formed Slovenia national team before retiring from professional football. Predrag Spasić ( sr-cyr, Предраг Спасић; born 13 May 1965) is a Serbian former footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Spasić was born in Kragujevac, PR Serbia, Yugoslavia. Over the course of his career he played for FK Radnički Kragujevac, FK Partizan, Real Madrid, CA Osasuna, CA Marbella, FK Radnički Beograd and again FK Radnički Kragujevac, retiring at the age of 32. Vujadin Stanojković ( Macedonian: Вујадин Станојковиќ; born 10 September 1963) is a Yugoslav and Macedonian former professional footballer and current manager. Club career Born in Kumanovo, Stanojković made his Yugoslav First League debuts with Vardar in the 1985–86 season. He won the Yugoslav Championship in 1987 with them, before the title was given to FK Partizan after their six points deduction was reversed. He spent three more years at the club, before transferring to Partizan in the summer of 1989. Dragoje Leković ( sr-Cyrl, Драгоје Лековић, ; born 21 November 1967) is a retired professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Ivan Osim (6 May 1941 – 1 May 2022), best known as Ivica Osim, was a Bosnian professional Football player, footballer and Manager (association football), football manager. Juan Carlos Loustau (born July 13, 1947) is a former Argentine association football referee. He is known for supervising three matches at the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy. He refereed the Germany vs. Netherlands match in which he sent off Germany's Rudi Völler and Netherlands' Frank Rijkaard after Rijkaard spat at Völler.
