Fløtatinden is a mountain in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The summit is a popular ski destination, accessed from the east. The mountain is located on the eastern shore of the lake Eikesdalsvatnet, and it has a view towards the Mardalsfossen waterfall in the south and the mountain Skjorta in the north. The village of Eresfjord lies about to the northwest along the Eira River. One of the lower peaks to the north of the main peak is ''Trondskjortetinden''. Eikesdalsvatnet is a lake in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake is long and narrow, roughly in length, and it is the largest lake in Møre og Romsdal county. The village of Eikesdalen is located at the southern end of the lake. The average depth of the lake is , which is below sea level, which means most of the lake's volume is located below sea level. Its main inflows are the river Aura, flowing northwest from the lake Aursjøen, and the river Mardøla with the famous waterfall Mardalsfossen. Mardalsfossen
Mardalsfossen is a waterfall in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is sometimes referred to as one of the tallest waterfalls in Europe. The falls are on the Mardøla river which flows out of a hanging valley into the lake Eikesdalsvatnet, about northwest of the village of Eikesdalen. The waterfall was depicted in the coat of arms of the old Nesset Municipality. The total fall is according to SSB, according to World Waterfall Database (WWD). Eresfjord
Eresfjord is a village in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located along the river Eira (river), Eira between the Eresfjorden and the lake Eikesdalsvatnet. The mountain Skjorta lies just to the east of the village. The village of Myklebostad, Møre og Romsdal, Myklebostad (Vistdal) lies about to the northwest through the Vistdal valley and the village of Boggestranda lies about to the north.
