Pimenta is a Brazilian municipality located in the center of the state of Minas Gerais. Its population as of 2020 was 8,688 people living in a total area of 415 km². The city belongs to the meso-region of Oeste de Minas and to the micro-region of Formiga. It became a municipality in 1948. The 2018 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 13th edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament. It was held in Córdoba, Veracruz, Mexico from 28 August to 2 September. Twelve teams competed and the top five ranked teams at the end of the tournament will be qualified to the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 18th edition of the competition. It was held in Bangalore, India. The tournament took place from 6 to 10 December 2023. Sir Sicoma Perugia won their second title after defeating Itambé Minas in straight sets (3–0) in the final. Itambé Minas settle for silver and its also their first medal of the tournament. The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 17th edition of the competition. It was held in Betim, Brazil. It was the seventh time as well as the third consecutive times Betim was selected as the host city. The tournament was held from 7 to 11 December 2022. The FIVB Men's Volleyball Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. The current champions are Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro, who defeated Italy's Trentino Itas (3–1) in the final of the 2024 and won their fifth title of the competition. The 2023 Men's South American Volleyball Championship was the 35th edition of the Men's South American Volleyball Championship held in Recife, Brazil and organised by South America's governing volleyball body, the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (CSV).
