Flávia Oliveira
Flávia Maria de Oliveira Paparella (born 27 October 1981) is a Brazilian bicycle racing, racing cyclist. She competed in the 2013 UCI Road World Championships – Women's road race, 2013 UCI Women's World Championship Road Race in Florence, as well as the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, 2014 UCI Women's Road World Championships in Ponferrada. She competed at the Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro where she finished in seventh place, the highest placed finish for a Brazilian rider in any Olympic cycling event. Oliveira is a past winner of the mountains classification at the Giro Donne, Giro d'Italia Femminile in 2015, the Brazilian National Road Race Championships, and she was the winner of the general and mountain classifications at the 2016 Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche. Cascade Cycling Classic
The Cascade Cycling Classic was the longest running elite road bicycle racing stage race in the United States (1980–2019), with 2018 being the only year the race was not held. The race was held again in 2019, but then canceled due to Covid in 2020. The race took place in the Central Oregon region and was based in Bend, Oregon. It was a regular fixture for most of North America's top cyclists and teams. Owned and managed by the Cascade Cycling Classic Youth Foundation, former pro cyclist and two-time national road champion Bart Bowen was both the foundation's executive director and the classic's race director.
