Floripa Esporte Clube, also known as Super Imperatriz Vôlei, was a men's volleyball team, based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. They won the Superliga Brasileira de Voleibol in 2005–06, 2007–08 and in 2008–09, and won the South American Championship in 2009. They played at Arena Jaraguá Arena Jaraguá is an indoor sporting arena located in Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil. It is used mainly for futsal and volleyball. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. The Brazilian Volleyball Super League ( pt, Superliga Brasileira de Voleibol) is the top level Brazilian professional volleyball competition. South American Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. The competition was first contested in 2009 in Florianópolis, Brazil and tournaments have been held every year since then.
