Taste
The gustatory system or sense of taste is the sensory system that is partially responsible for the perception of taste. Taste is the perception stimulated when a substance in the mouth biochemistry, reacts chemically with taste receptor cells located on taste buds in the oral cavity, mostly on the tongue. Taste, along with olfaction, the sense of smell and trigeminal nerve stimulation (registering texture, pain, and temperature), determines Flavoring, flavors of food and other substances. Humans have taste receptors on taste buds and other areas, including the upper surface of the tongue and the epiglottis. The gustatory cortex is responsible for the perception of taste. The tongue is covered with thousands of small bumps called lingual papillae, papillae, which are visible to the naked eye. Within each papilla are hundreds of taste buds. Flavours (album)
''Flavours'' is the thirteenth studio album by the Canadian rock band The Guess Who. This was the first album by the group to feature Domenic Troiano on guitar. Release history In addition to the usual two-channel stereo version the album was also released by RCA in a four-channel quadraphonic version on both LP and 8-track tape. The quad LP version was released using the Quadradisc system. The album was first released on CD in a "Two-Fer" series, bundled with the album '' Rockin''', although this release was criticized by multiple reviewers for poor sound quality. In 2011, the album was released in remastered form by the Iconoclassic label including previously unreleased demo tracks. Flavor (Tori Amos Song)
"Flavor" is a song written and recorded by Tori Amos, originally appearing on her album '' Abnormally Attracted to Sin'' (2009) as a down-tempo song, and later released as the lead single from her album '' Gold Dust'' (2012) which features classical rearrangements of selected songs from her oeuvre. Amos stated she felt the song was overlooked on its original album and had to be re-worked and noticed on ''Gold Dust''. Music video The music video for "Flavor" was directed by Danielle Levitt and it features Amos walking the streets of New York City and encountering many different people, including skaters, gospel women from Harlem, drag queens, and breakdancers. Flavor (Iyanya Song)
"Flavor" (also spelt "Flavour") is a song recorded by Nigerian singer Iyanya for his second studio album, ''Desire'' (2013). It was released as the record's third commercial single on 10 November 2012 through Made Men Music Group, a record label he co-owns with his manager, Franklin Ube. Written by the singer and produced by long-time collaborator D'Tunes, "Flavor" is a highlife and pop-influenced song. It features Iyanya questioning his lover through repetitive lyrics. The single received generally positive reviews from contemporary music critics; a reviewer from ''Pulse'' congratulated Iyanya's grooviness while another provided an explanation for its success. An accompanying music video for "Flavor" was released on 24 December 2012 and features the singer performing and dancing through a shopping centre and a nightclub in London. Tiffany Affair was an American R&B girl group, composed of Ayanna (born 1988), Bianca (born 1988), Gabrielle (born 1990), and Natasha (born 1990). It was originally a quartet but then later became a trio when Natasha image on stage and back stage during private interviews. The girls were brought to Reprise's attention by guitarist Robert Randolph. They released their first single "Start a Fire", produced by Stargate. They started performing in commercials and musical theaters at a young age. Their name originates from both a street in New Jersey called "Tiffany Blvd" and their original recording spot in a warehouse previously owned by Tiffany & Co. Their influences are John Legend, Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefani, Boyz II Men, and Christina Aguilera. Chinedu Okoli (born 23 November 1983), better known by his stage name Flavour N'abania or simply Flavour, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Sense Of Smell
The sense of smell, or olfaction, is the special sense through which smells (or odors) are perceived. The sense of smell has many functions, including detecting desirable foods, hazards, and pheromones, and plays a role in taste. In humans, it occurs when an odor binds to a receptor within the nasal cavity, transmitting a signal through the olfactory system. Glomeruli aggregate signals from these receptors and transmit them to the olfactory bulb, where the sensory input will start to interact with parts of the brain responsible for smell identification, memory, and emotion. Flavour Network (formerly known as Food Network) is a Canadian English language discretionary specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. It broadcasts programming related to food, cooking, cuisine, and the food industry, including competition, reality, and travelogue-style programs.
