Flanders is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mount Olive Township, in southwestern Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 9,832. Flanders is served by the U.S. Postal Service as ZIP Code 07836. Geography Flanders is in southeastern Mount Olive Township, bordered to the east by Ledgewood and Succasunna in Roxbury Township and to the south by Chester Township. U.S. Route 206 passes through the community to the west of its center, leading north to Netcong and south to Chester. Flanders lies in the German Valley, between highlands that rise to the northwest and to the southeast. Drakes Brook, a southwest-flowing tributary of the South Branch of the Raritan River, passes through the center of town. Chester Township, New Jersey
Chester Township is a township in southwestern Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 7,713, a decrease of 125 (−1.6%) from the 2010 census count of 7,838, which in turn reflected an increase of 556 (+7.6%) from the 7,282 counted in the 2000 census. The township's name is derived from Chestershire in England. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Kenneth Tyler Agostino (born April 30, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) are statistical entities developed by the United States Census Bureau for tabulating summary statistics. These were introduced with the Census 2000 and continued with the 2010 Census and 5 year American Community Survey datasets. They were updated again for the 2020 census. This new entity was developed to overcome the difficulties in precisely defining the land area covered by each ZIP code.
