The Equitable Building is an office skyscraper located at 120 Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway between Pine and Cedar streets in the Financial District, Manhattan, Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City. Hayao Miyazaki
is a Japanese animator, filmmaker, and manga artist. He co-founded Studio Ghibli and serves as honorary chairman. Throughout his career, Miyazaki has attained international acclaim as a masterful storyteller and creator of Anime, Japanese animated feature films, and is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished filmmakers in the history of animation. ''Demon'' is an American supernatural action comic by Jason Shiga. The comic, which follows a man who apparently cannot die, was self-published from 2014 to 2016 as a mini-comic and webcomic, then released as a four-volume, 720-page graphic novel by First Second Books in 2016 and 2017. It was unusually well-organized for a webcomic, having been entirely written and laid out before its release, with a well-founded story, consistent art, and daily updates. The comic was received favourably by critics, who praised the clever story; its puzzles and plot twists; the artwork, which balanced the often grim subject matter; and the surprising humor. ''Delilah Dirk'' is a series of action adventure graphic novels following adventures of the titular character, Delilah Dirk. Written and illustrated by Tony Cliff, Delilah Dirk started as a webcomic, and now consists of three full graphic novels and one shorter story. Creation Writer and illustrator Tony Cliff is a Canadian cartoonist and animator also known for his contributions to the ''Flight'' anthology series. He started working on Delilah Dirk as a 30-page comic inspired by the Napoleonic Wars, Indiana Jones, and James Bond. The Dam Keeper
''The Dam Keeper'' is a 2014 American animated short film directed by Robert Kondo and Daisuke Tsutsumi. It tells the story of Pig, an introverted youth who lives in a windmill and keeps a dark fog from engulfing his town. Although socially rejected by his peers, he is befriended by the artistic Fox. Kondo and Tsutsumi began developing the film while working as art directors on ''Monsters University'' and produced it through a co-op program at Pixar. This is Tsutsumi's second short film, after 2011's ''Sketchtravel'', and Kondo's first directorial effort. Producers Megan Bartel and Duncan Ramsay were also employees at Pixar. The Randolph Caldecott Medal, frequently shortened to just the Caldecott, annually recognizes the preceding year's "most distinguished American picture book for children". It is awarded to the illustrator by the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). The Caldecott and Newbery Medals are considered the most prestigious American children's book awards. Besides the Caldecott Medal, the committee awards a variable number of citations to runners-up they deem worthy, called the Caldecott Honor or Caldecott Honor Books. The Caldecott Medal was first proposed by Frederic G. Melcher in 1937. The award was named after English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. Mariko Tamaki
Mariko Tamaki (born 1975) is a Canadian artist and writer. She is known for her graphic novels '' Skim'', ''Emiko Superstar,'' and '' This One Summer''."Mariko Tamaki".
