Final Resolution (2005)
The 2005 Final Resolution was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on January 16, 2005 from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first annual event under the Final Resolution chronology. Nine matches were featured on the event's card. The main event was a standard wrestling match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which the champion, Jeff Jarrett, defeated the challenger, Monty Brown to retain the championship. The TNA X Division Championship was contested in an Ultimate X match, in which A.J. Styles defeated Chris Sabin and the champion, Petey Williams. The event's undercard featured different varieties of matches. Jeffrey Nero Hardy (born August 31, 1977) is an American Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and also appears on partner promotion WWE on its NXT (WWE brand), NXT brand. NWA World Tag Team Championship
The NWA World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling World Tag Team Championship, world tag team championship created by the National Wrestling Alliance. From 1948 to 1982, the NWA allowed List of National Wrestling Alliance territories, member promotions to create their own territorial version of the "NWA World Tag Team Championship" without oversight from the board of directors. The first of these NWA World Tag Team Championships was created in 1950 in the NWA World Tag Team Championship (Los Angeles version), San Francisco territory, which while billed as a "World" title was essentially restricted to the specific NWA territory. Robert Francis Roode Jr. (born May 11, 1976) is a Canadian retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. Team Canada was a heel professional wrestling stable in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which was active from 2004 to 2006. History 2004 X-Cups In 2004, wrestling promoter and personality "Coach" Scott D'Amore brought together fellow Canadians to form his own incarnation of Team Canada in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) for the 2004 America's X-Cup Tournament. The original team was composed of Teddy Hart as team captain, with Jack Evans, Johnny Devine, and Petey Williams as his teammates. When the World X-Cup was announced, the team was revamped to add power to the speed and agility in the previous incarnation of the team. James Allen Cox (born June 1, 1977) is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name James Storm. He currently competes on the independent circuit. He is best known for his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He started his career in 1997 and after working on several independent promotions, he began to wrestle for the newly created Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, NWA: Total Nonstop Action promotion. America's Most Wanted (shortened to AMW) was a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Chris Harris (wrestler), Chris Harris and James Storm, who competed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Peter Williams III (born August 26, 1981) is a Canadian professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE as a backstage producer. He is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling, where he is a two-time X Division Champion.
