Glitch Productions (also known simply as Glitch; formerly Glitchy Boy or Glitchy Boy Productions) is an Australian independent animation studio based in Sydney, New South Wales. The studio was founded in 2017 by producer Kevin Lerdwichagul and animator Luke Lerdwichagul, who is known for being the creator of the sketch comedy machinima ''SMG4''. Glitch is known for independently producing and funding animated web series such as ''Meta Runner'', ''Sunset Paradise'', '' Murder Drones'', '' The Amazing Digital Circus'', and '' The Gaslight District.'' Glitch's founders were featured in ''Forbes'' 30 Under 30 list for Media, Marketing, and Advertising in 2023. History Background Co-founder Luke Lerdwichagul started making YouTube videos in 2009. The Gaslight District
''The Gaslight District'' is an Australian adult independent-animated web series created, written, and directed by Nick Szopko and produced by Glitch Productions. The series centres around a family of undead gangsters living in a post-apocalyptic world following the genocide of humans. The pilot premiered on Glitch's YouTube channel on 18 April 2025. Author Surrogate
As a literary technique, an author surrogate (also called an author avatar) is a fictional character based on the author. The author surrogate may be disguised, with a different name, or the author surrogate may be quite close to the author, with the same name. Some authors use author surrogates to express philosophical or political views in the narrative. Authors may also insert themselves under their own name into their works. Usage Fiction Frequently, the author surrogate is the same as the main character and/or the protagonist, and is also often the narrator. Source is a 3D game engine developed by Valve. It debuted as the successor to GoldSrc in 2004 with the releases of '' Half-Life: Source'', '' Counter-Strike: Source'', and '' Half-Life 2''.
