Filipe Gonçalves
Filípe Miguel Maganinho dos Santos Gonçalves (born 12 August 1984) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, currently a manager. He made 154 Primeira Liga appearances, for Braga, Vitória de Setúbal, Paços de Ferreira, Moreirense, Estoril and Nacional, as well as 206 games in the second tier for four clubs. He retired in 2022 after one year at Lusitânia, and also had a brief spell abroad with Śląsk Wrocław in Poland's Ekstraklasa. Club career Born in Espinho, Gonçalves spent the vast majority of his first four years as a senior in the third division, representing S.C. Espinho and S.C. Braga's reserves. Whilst at the service of the latter club he made his debut in the Primeira Liga with the main squad, playing 11 minutes in a 2–1 away win against Boavista F.C. on 7 May 2005. Espinho (), officially the City of Espinho (), is a city and a municipality located in the Aveiro District, Portugal. It is located in both the Greater Porto and the Metropolitan Area of Porto, 16 km from its city centre. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Portugal and was, until 1899, part of the Santa Maria da Feira Municipality. In 2021, Espinho had a population of 31,027, a slight decrease from the previous census in 2011, when 31,786 were registered, in an area of 21.06 km2. Oliveira de Azeméis () is a city and municipality in the Porto Metropolitan Area of Portugal. Administratively, the municipality belongs to the District of Aveiro. Pogoń Szczecin Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Pogoń Szczecin (), is a Polish professional football club based in Szczecin, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, which plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of the national football league system. Álvaro Ricardo Faustino Gomes (born 3 September 1990), known as Alvarinho, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Moncarapachense. He played five Primeira Liga games for Paços de Ferreira and Farense, nearly a decade apart, as well as 37 matches and four goals in the second tier for the latter. Abroad, he represented three clubs in the Polish Ekstraklasa, winning the national cup with Zawisza Bydgoszcz in 2014. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual club football competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the top two tiers of Portuguese football – the Primeira Liga and Liga Portugal 2. Unlike Portugal's other domestic cup competition, the Taça de Portugal, the winners of the Taça da Liga do not qualify for European competitions.
