Fiavé Pinzolo
Fiavé is a ''comune'' (municipality) and a village in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about southwest of Trento. On 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,053 and an area of . The municipality of Fiavè contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) of Ballino, Favrio and Stumiaga. Fiavè borders the municipalities of Comano Terme, Bleggio Superiore, Ledro and Tenno. A ''frazione'' (: ''frazioni'') is a type of subdivision of a ''comune'' ('municipality') in Italy, often a small village or hamlet outside the main town. Most ''frazioni'' were created during the Fascist era (1922–1943) as a way to consolidate territorial subdivisions in the country. In the autonomous region of the Aosta Valley, a ''frazione'' is officially called ''hameau'' in French. In South Tyrol, a ''frazione'' is called ''Fraktion'' in German and ''frazion'' in Ladin.
