João Gabriel Ferreira Gomes (born 20 March 1996), known as Ferreira or sometimes as João Gabriel, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rio Branco-PR. Career Born in Matão, São Paulo, Ferreira represented Mirassol, Ferroviária and Santos as a youth before joining Portuguese side Aves in 2016. After spending the season playing for the B-team, he was released and spent a year without a club before signing for Ginásio Figueirense (C. Rodrigo). Ferreira signed for União Almeirim in 2019, helping in their promotion to the Campeonato de Portugal in his first campaign. He returned to his home country in 2022, with Matonense, before being loaned out to in April. Back to Matonense in October 2022, Ferreira agreed to a deal with Andraus for the 2023 season, winning the Campeonato Paranaense Série Prata and scoring the winning goal in the final against PSTC. Matão
Matão is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. As of 2020, the town had an estimated population of 83,626 and a population density of 146.3 persons per km2. The total area the city is . Matão sits at an elevation of . The municipality consists of two districts: Matão and São Lourenço do Turvo. History Matão was first populated by coffee growers at the beginning of the 1890s. The settlers constructed a small chapel in 1894, and in 1895 called their settlement Senhor do Bom Jesus das Palmeiras. The settlement was renamed Matão in 1897 and became a district of Araraquara. It became an independent municipality on August 27, 1898. Campeonato Paulista Série A3 is the third tier of the professional state football league in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. It is run by the São Paulo State Football Federation (FPF). The tournament has been known as Série A3 since the 1993–94 season. Structure The current format of the Paulistão A3 was introduced in 2018, after the number of teams was decreased from 20 to 16. 2020–21 Campeonato De Portugal
The 2020–21 Campeonato de Portugal was the eighth season of Portuguese football's renovated third-tier league, since the merging of the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão in 2013, and the sixth season under the current Campeonato de Portugal title. A total of 96 teams competed in this division. Due to the cancellation of all non-professional competitions in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal on the previous season, no teams were relegated, which lead to an additional team from each of the 20 district championships.
