Feroz Awards
The Feroz Awards () are Spain-based film and television awards presented by the Asociación de Informadores Cinematográficos de España ('Association of Cinematographic Informers of Spain'). Created as film awards, the first edition took place in January 2014. Categories recognizing excellence in television were added for the 4th edition that took place in 2017. Eligibility conditions To be eligible for the Feroz Awards, a film needs to have been premiered within the year prior to the award ceremony and, before the premiere, have been featured in a special projection for the press in Madrid, Barcelona or both. If this last condition did not happen, the film should have been made available (also before the official premiere) for online viewing to the members of Asociación de Informadores. Carlos López del Rey (born 1980), known professionally as Carlos Vermut, is a Spanish filmmaker. Born in Madrid, he worked as illustrator, comic book artist and storyboard designer prior to filmmaking. Following his involvement in the animated television series ''Jelly Jamm'', he made his feature film debut with ''Diamond Flash''. Jaime Rosales (born 1970 in Barcelona) is a Spanish film director, screenwriter and film producer. He spent three years in Cuba studying cinema at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) in La Habana, and later at Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney, (Australia).
