Feridun Sinirlioğlu
Feridun Hadi Sinirlioğlu (b. 30 January 1956, Giresun) is a Turkish diplomat and politician. He is the Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations since 2016. He previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey from August 2015 to November 2015. Early life and career Sinirlioğlu was born in 1956 in Görele, Giresun Province. He graduated from Ankara University’s Faculty of Political Science with a B.A. in 1978. He holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in political science and international relations from Boğaziçi University. The Turkish people, or simply the Turks ( tr, Türkler), are the world's largest Turkic ethnic group; they speak various dialects of the Turkish language and form a majority in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. Süleyman Sami Demirel (; 1 November 1924 – 17 June 2015) was a Turkish politician, engineer, and statesman who served as the 9th President of Turkey from 1993 to 2000. He previously served as the Prime Minister of Turkey seven times between the years 1965 and 1993. He was the leader of the Justice Party (AP) from 1964 to 1980 and the leader of the True Path Party (DYP) from 1987 to 1993.
