Fehérgyarmat District
Fehérgyarmat () is a district in eastern part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. ''Fehérgyarmat'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Great Plain, Northern Great Plain Statistical Region. This district is a part of Szatmár historical and geographical region. Geography Fehérgyarmat District borders with Vásárosnamény District and the Ukraine, Ukrainian oblast of Zakarpattia Oblast, Zakarpattia to the north, Romanian county of Satu Mare County, Satu Mare to the east, Csenger District to the south, Mátészalka District to the west. Districts Of Hungary
Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Districts of the 19 counties are numbered by Arabic numerals and named after the district seat, while districts of Budapest are numbered by Roman numerals and named after the historical towns and neighbourhoods. In Hungarian, the districts of the capital and the rest of the country hold different titles. Jánkmajtis
Jánkmajtis is a village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. Geography Jánkmajtis covers an area of and has a population of 1736 people (2015). History The village first appears in writing in 1252. In the early 1300s, the village belonged to the Jánky family, and in 1315, the village passed into the control of the Borsa clan.
