It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. Peter Arthur Gotti (October 15, 1939 – February 25, 2021) was an American mobster who served as boss of the Gambino crime family of New York following the imprisonment of his younger brother John Gotti. Early life Gotti was born in the Bronx, New York, on October 15, 1939. He was one of 13 children (two had died at birth) of John Joseph Gotti Sr. and Philomena "Fannie" DeCarlo.
