Farscape
''Farscape'' is an Australian-American Science fiction on television, science fiction television series conceived by Rockne S. O'Bannon and produced by The Jim Henson Company and Hallmark Entertainment, originally for the Nine Network. It premiered in North America on the Sci-Fi Channel's ''SciFi Friday'' segment on 19 March 1999 (at 8:00 pm EST), as the network's anchor series. The Jim Henson Company is credited with the many Extraterrestrial life, alien looks, make-up and Prosthetic makeup, prosthetics; two regular characters on the show, the Animatronics, animatronic puppets Rygel and Pilot, were entirely Henson Creature Shop creations. Although the series was planned for five seasons, it was abruptly cancelled after production had ended on its fourth season, thus finishing the series on a cliffhanger. The Peacekeeper Wars
''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'' is a military science fiction television miniseries written by Rockne S. O'Bannon and David Kemper and directed by Brian Henson. Following the original series' cancellation in September 2002, it aimed to wrap up the cliffhanger and tie up some elements of the series in general. It was broadcast on 17 and 18 October 2004. Henson and others have attributed the return of ''Farscape'' to the ongoing campaign of fans. Production began in December 2003. In May 2004 the Sci-Fi Channel, now owned by NBC Universal, announced that it would run a two-episode conclusion titled ''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars''. Henson refers to the three hours as episodes 4.23–4.26, though the New South Wales Film Office refers to the production as a "2 × 2 hour telemovie" (including commercials). Robert Benedict Browder (born December 11, 1962) is an American actor, writer and film director, known for his roles as John Crichton in '' Farscape'' and Cameron Mitchell in '' Stargate SG-1''. Early life Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Browder grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. His parents were race car owners and operators. Wayne Pigram , better known by his stage name Wayne Pygram, is an Australian actor. Lani Tupu (born 4 November 1955), billed variously as Larney Tupu, John Tupu and Lani John Tupu, is a New Zealand actor. Also known as Lani Tupu Jr. Biography Tupu was born in 1955 to an English mother and a Samoan father. Tupu was named after his father Lani Tupu. Tupu started acting in church plays.
