Pavol Farkaš (born 27 March 1985) is a former Slovak professional footballer who played a centre-back. Club career Early club career Farkas spent three seasons with Nitra and two with Artmedia Petržalka, appearing in 80 league matches. In the summer of 2008, he signed a contract with Romanian Liga I side Vaslui. On 3 July 2012, Farkaš signed a one-year contract with Chievo Verona, in the Italian Serie A. He went on loan to Serie B club Ternana on 16 July 2013. Farkaš signed a one-year contract with Azerbaijan Premier League club Gabala on 6 July 2014, leaving the club upon its completion in June 2015. Henrieta Farkašová (born 3 May 1986) is a retired Slovak alpine skier, eleven-time Paralympic champion and seventeen-time world champion in the B3 (classification) category. Etela Farkašová
Etela Farkašová (; born 5 October 1943) is a Slovak writer and philosopher. Biography Etela Farkašová was born on 5 October 1943 in Levoča. She studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Trnava. Following her graduation, she worked as a high school teacher. At the same time, she studied Philosophy and Sociology at the Comenius University, graduating in 1972. Since then, she has lectured at the Department of Philosophy of the Comenius University. She retired in 2010, but as of 2023 she is still active as an Emeritus Professor of Philosophy as well as a researcher of the Center for Gender Studies at the university. She occasionally translates from German and English. As a philosopher, Farkašová is interested in epistemology, in particular the relationship between philosophy and science as well as philosophy and art. Aleksandar Farkaš ( sr-cyr, Александар Фаркаш; born 07.05.1976) is a politician in Serbia. He has served in the Assembly of Vojvodina since 2016 as a member of the Serbian Progressive Party. Private career Farkaš holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and lives in Zrenjanin. He is not to be confused with a different Aleksandar Farkaš from Pančevo who is also active with the Progressive Party. Politician Farkaš received the thirty-ninth position on the Progressive Party's electoral list in the 2016 Vojvodina provincial election and was elected when the list won a majority victory with sixty-three out of 120 mandates. Hana Hegerová (20 October 1931 – 23 March 2021) was a Slovak singer and actress. Often referred to as the Queen of Czechoslovak chanson, she gained popularity primarily as a singer of chansons. Outside of Czechoslovakia, Hegerová attained recognition especially in German-speaking countries. Early life Hegerová was born Carmen Mária Štefánia Farkašová.
