Fantasy Video Game Console
A fantasy video game console (or simply fantasy console) is an emulator for a fictitious video game console. It aims to create the experience of retro gaming without the need to emulate a real console, allowing the developer to freely decide what specifications their fictional Computer hardware, hardware will have. Emulator
In computing, an emulator is Computer hardware, hardware or software that enables one computer system (called the ''host'') to behave like another computer system (called the ''guest''). An emulator typically enables the host system to run software or use peripheral devices designed for the guest system. Emulation refers to the ability of a computer program in an electronic device to emulate (or imitate) another program or device. Many printer (computing), printers, for example, are designed to emulate Hewlett-Packard, HP LaserJet printers because a significant amount of software is written specifically for HP models.
