Fabrizio Zilibotti
Fabrizio Zilibotti (born September 7, 1964) is an Italian economist. He is the Tuntex Professor of International and Development Economics at Yale University. Zilibotti was previously professor of economics at University College London, the University of Zürich, and at the Institute for International Economic Studies in Stockholm. He has been a co-editor of ''Econometrica'', managing editor of the ''Review of Economic Studies'' (2002-2006), and chief editor of the ''Journal of the European Economic Association'' (2009-2014). In addition, he is an associate editor of the ''Journal of Economic Growth'' and of '' China Economic Review''. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, of the NBER and of the CEPR, and a member of the Academia Europaea honoris causa. The ''American Economic Review'' is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal first published by the American Economic Association in 1911. The current editor-in-chief is Erzo FP Luttmer, a professor of economics at Dartmouth College. The journal is based in Pittsburgh. It is one of the " top five" journals in economics. In 2004, the ''American Economic Review'' began requiring "data and code sufficient to permit replication" of a paper's results, which is then posted on the journal's website. Exceptions are made for proprietary data. The European Economic Association (EEA) is a learned society, professional academic body which links European economists. It was founded in the mid-1980s. Its first annual congress was in 1986 in Vienna and its first president was Jacques Drèze. The current president is Hélène Rey. The Association currently has around 4000 members.
