FM Records
Revolver Music was a British record label. It was created by Paul Birch in 1979 as a guitar music label. Its sister labels are FM Records and Heavy Metal Records. History Revolver is best known for signing the Manchester band, The Stone Roses, who released the " Sally Cinnamon" EP with Revolver under the Black Records imprint prior to reneging on their contract and moving to Silvertone (part of the Zomba Group). The Black Records label was a division of FM-Revolver that was initially created as an indie imprint to promote The Stone Roses, and later used for releases by Crazyhead, The Pleasureheads and The Wild Flowers amongst others. Guitar

Alex Lusty (born 9 April 1973) is a British rapper. Early influences While growing up, Lusty listened to hip hop. His work has been influenced by Public Enemy (band), Beastie Boys, Melle Mel, KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Rakim, Kool Keith, and Nas. Lusty is also a Morrissey fan and has attended more than 80 Morrissey concerts, it this fandom led directly to the creation of his projects The OneThree and Happy Martyr. Lusty also cites Half Man Half Biscuit as his favourite band. Musical projects Frigid Vinegar Alex Lusty's first release was "Dogmonaut 2000" under the guise Frigid Vinegar in 1999. Babe Ruth are an English rock band from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. They were active in the 1970s and then reformed in 2002. History In 1971 after graduating from Royal Academy of Music, Alan Shacklock formed "Shacklock" with David Hewitt on bass, Dave Punshon on piano, Dick Powell on drums, and Jenny Haan as vocalist. Roger Dean (artist) later introduced Shacklock to Nick Mobbs, vice president of A&R to the EMI Harvest Records, who got them a show at Marquee Club before signing the band on to the EMI Harvest label. Biomechanical are an English progressive groove/thrash metal band from London. The band was founded in April 1999 by vocalist John K. History Biomechanical started as a lifelong goal for singer/songwriter John K who envisioned connected concept albums telling a unified narrative. The albums were released as ''Eight Moons'', ''The Empires of the Worlds'' and '' Cannibalised''. After the release of ''Eight Moons'' via Revolver Records, the owner of Elitist Records Lee Barrett approached Biomechanical, and after negotiations, all parties agreed and signed with Earache/Elitist Records in September 2004. Rose Royce is an American soul and R&B group. They are best known for several hit singles during the 1970s including " Car Wash", " I Wanna Get Next to You", " I'm Going Down", " Wishing on a Star", and " Love Don't Live Here Anymore". Career The Los Angeles-based group comprised Gwen Dickey (vocals), Henry Garner (drums), Terral "Terry" Santiel (congas), Lequeint "Duke" Jobe (bass), Michael Moore (saxophone), Kenny Copeland (trumpet, lead vocals), Kenji Brown (guitar, lead vocals), Freddie Dunn (trumpet), and Victor Nix (keyboards). Norman Connors
Norman Connors (born March 1, 1947) is an American jazz drummer, composer, arranger, and producer who has led a number of influential jazz and R&B groups. He also achieved several big R&B hits of the day, especially with love ballads. He is possibly best known for the 1976 hit, " You Are My Starship" on which lead vocals were sung by Michael Henderson. Biography Connors lived in the same Philadelphia neighbourhood as comedian/actor Bill Cosby and had an interest in jazz from a very early age when he began to play drums. Whilst at elementary school, Connors was exposed to jazz extensively and became heavily influenced by the drummer Lex Humphries and the younger brother of bassist and Jazz-Messenger player, Spanky DeBrest. He first met his idol, Miles Davis, aged just 13 in 1960. He once sat in for Elvin Jones at a John Coltrane performance he attended while in middle school. Tonic is an American rock band, formed in 1993 by Emerson Hart and Jeff Russo. Later members have included Dan Lavery, Kevin Shepard, and Dan Rothchild. The band signed with Polydor Records in 1995, through which they released their debut studio album ''Lemon Parade'' (1996). Vain is an American glam metal band from San Francisco Bay Area, California, formed in 1986. As of 2018, the lineup consists of Davy Vain (lead vocals), Joel Proto (guitar), Ashley Mitchell (bass) and Tommy Rickard (drums). After recording a demo, Davy Vain founded Vain in 1986, adding Dylana Nova Scott, Danny West, Ashley Mitchell and drummer Tom Rickard to the lineup. 54-40 (often stylized 54•40) is a Canadian rock band from Tsawwassen, Delta, British Columbia. The band take their name from the slogan "54-40 or Fight!", coined to express the unsuccessful expansionist agenda of James K. Polk's presidency, which was intent upon controlling a contested U.S.-Canada border area in the Oregon boundary dispute. 54-40 has had a successful career, with four of their albums being certified platinum in Canada.
