FIFA World Ranking System (2006–2018)
The 2006–2018 FIFA men's ranking system was a calculation technique previously used by FIFA for ranking men's national teams in football (soccer), football. The ranking system was introduced by FIFA after the 2006 FIFA World Cup, as an update to an FIFA World Ranking system (1999–2006), earlier system, and was replaced after the 2018 FIFA World Cup, 2018 World Cup with FIFA World Rankings, a revised Elo-based system. The system, like the previous ones, is extremely similar to that of a league, though with changes made to ensure that it is still representative of the teams' performance despite playing differing numbers of matches per annum, and the differing strength of opposition that teams have to face. São Tomé And Príncipe National Football Team
The São Tomé and Príncipe national football team is the national association football team of São Tomé and Príncipe and is controlled by the São Toméan Football Federation. The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is one of the six continental confederations of international association football. The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA.
