Fotbal Club Ozana Târgu Neamț, commonly known as FC Ozana Târgu Neamț, or simply as Ozana Târgu Neamț, was a Romanian football club based in Târgu Neamț, Neamț County that last time played in the Liga III. History ''Ozana Târgu Neamț'' was founded in 1974 and began competing in the Neamț County Championship. After only one year was promoted in Divizia C winning the county championship and promotion play-off against champion of Vaslui County, Avântul Huși ( 2–0 at Huși and 2–1 at Târgu Neamț). The squad of Ozana in the first season was composed of: Floș, Constantinescu — goalkeepers; Croitoru II, Pasat, Axinte, Fodor, Gavriluță — defenders; Meterciuc, Croitoru I, Dascălu, Roman, Dumitraș — midfielders; Ionașcu, Anegroaie, Tulbure, Doru Apetrei, Hritcu — strikers; Mircea Crețu (head coach). 2007–08 Liga III
The 2007–08 Liga III season was the 52nd season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. It was the second in this format (six series of 18 teams each). The winners of each division got promoted to the 2008-09 Liga II season. There were also two playoff tournaments held at neutral venues involving the second placed teams, one with those from series 1, 2 and 3, the other with those from series 4, 5, and 6. The 2013–14 Liga III season is the 58th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 30 August. There is a new system, with six series of 12 teams that will play a regular season, followed by a play-off and play-out for each series. The regular season is a round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first six teams from each series will play a Promotion play-off and the winners will qualify to Liga II. The last six teams from each series will play a Relegation play-out. The last three teams from each series, at the end of the play-out, will relegate to Liga IV.
