FC Koper
Football Club Koper, commonly referred to as FC Koper or simply Koper, is a Slovenian football club based in Koper that competes in the Slovenian First League, the top flight of Slovenian football. The club was founded in 1920. They won the Slovenian First League once, in the 2009–10 season, and the Slovenian Cup four times, most recently in 2021–22. The club's home ground is Bonifika Stadium, which has a capacity for 4,047 spectators. History The club was formed as ''Circolo sportivo Capodistriano'' in 1920. The team was made up of students, workers and fishermen. Its colours were black and white. In 1928, the club was renamed as ''Unione sportiva Capodistriana''. Milan Mandarić ( sr-Cyrl, Милан Мандарић; born 5 September 1938) is a Serbian-American businessman who has owned a string of businesses and association football clubs, including Portsmouth, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday. Jan Koprivec
Jan Koprivec (born 15 July 1988) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Koprivec started his career at Koper. In summer 2007, Koprivec joined Cagliari, and played two matches in the 2007–08 Coppa Italia, both of which Cagliari won; however, he did not make any appearances in the league. In July 2008, Koprivec moved to Udinese, and immediately joined them in pre-season training. He made his league debut for Udinese on 22 March 2009 against Genoa. On 17 August 2009, Koprivec was loaned out to Serie B side Gallipoli. He made his debut four days later, in a 1–1 draw with Ascoli. During the season, he played only eleven games with the club from Salento due to an injury that hampered his settling into the first team. Koper - Bonifika Stadium
Koper (; ) is the fifth-largest city in Slovenia. Located in the Istrian region in the southwestern part of the country, Koper is the main urban center of the Slovene coast. Port of Koper is the country's only container port and a major contributor to the economy of the Municipality of Koper. The city is a destination for a number of Mediterranean cruising lines. Miran Pavlin (born 8 October 1971) is a Slovenian football executive and former player who played as midfielder.
