Astana Football Club () is a professional Association football, football club based in Astana. They play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football. The club's home ground is the 30,000-seat Astana Arena stadium. The club colours, reflected in their badge and kit, are sky blue and yellow. Founded as ''Lokomotiv Astana'' in 2009, the club changed its name to Astana in 2011. The Kazakhstan Professional Football League (, ''Qazaqstan Premier Ligasy''), commonly referred to as the Kazakh Premier League or simply the Premier League, is a professional association football league in Kazakhstan and the highest level of the Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football league system. The league is controlled by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan and was set up in 1992. Andrey Tikhonov (footballer)
Andrey Valeryevich Tikhonov (; born 16 October 1970) is a Russian football manager and a former midfielder who is the manager of Yenisey Krasnoyarsk. Tikhonov is primarily known for having played for Spartak Moscow and the Russia national football team. Career Tikhonov was spotted by the then-Spartak manager Oleg Romantsev, while playing for Titan Reutov, in a game against Spartak Moscow reserves. Tikhonov quickly broke into the starting line-up at his new club, becoming a key player at Spartak soon afterwards. Tikhonov won a total of eight Russian League titles with Spartak, before falling out with Oleg Romantsev. He then had a short loan spell in Israel, before signing a contract with Krylia Sovetov Samara. FC Tobol () is a Kazakhstan, Kazakh professional association football, football club based at the Kostanay Central Stadium, Central Stadium in Kostanay. Holger Fach
Holger Fach (born 6 September 1962) is a German football manager and former professional player. Mainly a defensive midfielder, he could also pitch in at centre back. Club career Between 1981 and 1998, Fach played 416 Bundesliga games for Fortuna Düsseldorf, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayer Uerdingen, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and TSV 1860 Munich. He scored 67 goals during this period, and won the DFB-Pokal with Borussia in 1995. In only half-a-season with Uerdingen in 1987–88, Fach scored a career-best nine league goals, greatly contributing to the side maintaining its top flight status. Maksim Aleksandrovich Shatskikh (born 30 August 1978) is an Uzbekistani professional football coach of Pakhtakor Tashkent and a former player. A prolific striker, he is widely regarded as one of the best Uzbekistani player of all time and was the top goalscorer of the national team with 34 goals in 61 games from 2010 to 2022. Shatskikh is the joint all-time top scorer of the Ukrainian Premier League with 123 goals in 341 games together with Serhii Rebrov. He spent a decade playing for Dynamo Kyiv from 1999 to 2009.
