FC Armătura Zalău
Fotbal Club Armătura Zalău, commonly known as Armătura Zalău, was a Romanian professional football club based in Zalău, Sălaj County. The club was founded in 1946 as ''CS Zalău'' and since 1975 was owned by IAIFO (Interprinderea de Armături Industriale din Fontă și Oțel - The Industrial Fittings Cast Iron and Steel Enterprise). Armătura was the most representative football team of Zalău and Sălaj County, playing at the national level and at its best, in the second tier. Over time, notable players such as Mircea Bolba, Alin Chibulcutean, Claudiu Cornaci, Vasile Dobrău, Adrian Gongolea, Vasile Jula, Florin Sabou or Gabriel Vașvari wore the red and black kits of Armătura and managers such as Leontin Grozavu or Iosif Vigu, among others, led "the Steelworkes" from the technical bench. Stadionul Municipal (Zalău)
Stadionul Municipal is a multi-use stadium in Zalău, Romania. It is known between the residents of Zalău as Maracana of Zilah used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of SCM Zalău or marathons.The stadium was renovated between 2017 and 2018, period in which the second stand (a metallic one) was demolished.The stadium is the only major stadium in Zalău(Zilah)and is the biggest in Sălaj county. Liga III
The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. It was founded in 1936 and was called Divizia C until 2006. Divizia B
The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 football season. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Since its inception in 1934, Liga II has had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. But since the 2016-17 Liga II, it changed to one group of 20 teams. Currently, the top six teams goes in the promotion play-off, in which the top 2 teams get promoted and the next 2 play a promotion play-off against teams from Liga I.
