Eure (departement)
Eure () is a Departments of France, department in Normandy (administrative region), Normandy in Northwestern France, named after the river Eure (river), Eure. Its Prefectures in France, prefecture is Évreux. It was created from part of the former provinces of France, province of Normandy. The name in fact is taken from the Eure river flowing mainly in this department. In the administrative divisions of France, the department (french: département, ) is one of the three levels of government under the national level ("territorial collectivities"), between the administrative regions and the communes.
