Estrella María Benzo Blas, also known as Estrella, is a Spanish singer born in Seville. Biography Estrella was born in the Parque Alcosa district of Seville, the daughter of two musicians and singers – her mother accompanied Lola Flores in some tablaos, and her father was a singer–songwriter. At the age of fifteen began studying piano at music school, but after two years of training decided to leave. Later she started performing vocals for other artists, and thus she came to know the Swedish producer Erik Nilsson, producer of renowned artists such as Ketama. At the age of 21 years, Estrella debuted in mid-2006 with her single "Qué me puede quedar", in collaboration with Moroccan violinist Faiçal Kourrisc. Flamenco
Flamenco (), in its strictest sense, is an art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain, developed within the gitano subculture of the region of Andalusia, and also having historical presence in Extremadura and Murcia. Erik Nilsson
Erik Henry Sixten Nilsson (6 August 1916 – 9 September 1995) was a Swedish footballer who played as a left back. Nilsson played his youth days with Limhamns IF, before he moved in 1934 to Allsvenskan club Malmö FF, where he played until 1953. There he won five league titles and five Swedish Cups. During his playing days he rejected an offer from A.C. Milan. Career Nilsson played 57 times for the Sweden national football team, and participated in several international tournaments. He played in the 1938 FIFA World Cup, where Sweden finished fourth. He took part in the 1948 London Olympics, where Sweden celebrated its best international result with a gold medal, defeating Yugoslavia 3–1 in the final. Ketama
Ketama is a Spanish musical group in the new flamenco tradition. Fusing flamenco with other musical forms (salsa, Brazilian music, reggae, funk, jazz), they created a style that lies somewhere between flamenco and pop salsa. Their music drew as much criticism as praise because purists did not like the change from traditional flamenco, but the group won over the young public. They continued to fuse other music in, and their 2002 album, ''Dame la Mano'', added hip hop and house music. History Band formation Ketama formed in Madrid in the early eighties, taking its name from a well-known valley in Morocco. The initial line-up featured José Soto Sorderita (guitar), Juan Carmona (guitar) and Ray Heredia (vocals).
