Peter Ermakov
Pyotr Zakharovich Ermakov (; – 22 May 1952) was a Russian Bolshevik revolutionary, notable as one of several men responsible for the execution of the Romanov family, including the deposed Tsar Nicholas II, his wife, their children, and their retinue. Biography Pyotr Zakharovich Ermakov was born on , in to the family of a Russian factory worker and raised in and around the Verkh-Isetskiy workhouse in Yekaterinburg, Russian Empire. Ermakov graduated from the local parish school, working thereafter as a metal craftsman, and between 1909 and 1912, is listed as living in Vologodskaya Province. In January 1906, Ermakov became a member of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party and became head of the illegal combat organisation of the RSDLP in the Verkh-Isetskiy. Soon, Ermakov became a member of the underground Yekaterinburg Committee of the RSDLP, which transferred him to an illegal position. Dmitri Ivanovich Yermakov
Dmitri Ivanovich Yermakov (russian: Дмитрий Иванович Ермаков) (1846 – November 10, 1916) was a Russian Empire photographer known for his series of the Caucasian photographs. Life and career Yermakov was born in Tiflis in 1846, the son of the Italian architect Luigi Caribaggio and a Georgian mother of Austrian descent. She remarried the Russian Ermakov whose surname her son Dmitry took. Trained as a military topographer, he took part in the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878). As an adult, he operated photographic businesses in Tiflis. He traveled extensively as far as Iran and participated in several archaeological expeditions in the Caucasus, leaving a series of unique photographs. These photographs document the lifestyles, customs and costumes of Russian people in the late 19th-century forming an important ethnographic record of the region and its inhabitants. Simon Hawke (born September 30, 1951) is an American author of mainly science fiction and fantasy novels. He was born Nicholas Valentin Yermakov, but began writing as Simon Hawke in 1984 and later changed his legal name to Hawke. He has also written near future adventure novels under the pen name J. D. Masters and a series of humorous mystery novels. He was the Colorado Writer of the Year, 1992. Career As Nicholas Yermakov (he is half-Russian), his early books were published in 1981-1984, including two '' Battlestar Galactica'' novelizations. Yevgeniya Yermakova (born April 9, 1976 in Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union) is a retired female freestyle swimmer from Kazakhstan. She competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992 ( Barcelona, Spain) for the Unified Team. Her best Olympic result was finishing in fourth place at the 1992 Summer Olympics in the women's 4×100 m freestyle relay event.
