Eric Chenowith
Eric Robert Chenowith (born March 9, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. As a high school player, he was selected to the McDonald's All-American Team in 1997. He played collegiately for Kansas and was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 2nd round (43rd overall pick) of the 2001 NBA draft. Chenowith was under contract with the following NBA teams. The Knicks (June to September 2001), Sacramento Kings (October 2001), Seattle SuperSonics (September to October 2002), Los Angeles Clippers (October 2002), Los Angeles Lakers (August to October 2003), Denver Nuggets (October 2005), Chicago Bulls (October 2006) and New Orleans Hornets 2007. McDonald's All-American Team
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout.
