Empress Xiaoyuanzhen
Empress Xiaoyuanzhen (1580–1613), of the Guo clan, was the first wife of the Taichang Emperor when he was crown prince. She died before he ascended the throne, but is more commonly known by her posthumous name. Biography Lady Guo was selected as concubine to the crown prince, Zhu Changluo, in 1601.Her father, Guo Weicheng, was enfeoffed as Count of Boping () as a result of her status, and later raised to the rank of marquis.Zhang Tingyu (1739), Second Biographies She died in 1613. Shuntian Prefecture
Shuntian Prefecture was an administrative region of China during the Ming and Qing dynasties, equivalent to Beijing Municipality in today's People's Republic of China. However, the area of the prefecture jurisdiction was different. The term Shuntian fu also referred to the yamen (office) of the prefecture's local government. Evolution During the Yuan dynasty, the imperial capital circuit known as Dadu circuit (大都路; ''Dadulu'') was under control of the Central Secretariat (Zhongshu Sheng). During the eighth month of the first year of reign of the Hongwu Emperor of the new Ming dynasty, this was renamed to Beiping prefecture, and in the tenth month it was attached to Shandong province. In the first lunar month in the first year of the reign of the Yongle Emperor, the capital was renamed Beijing and the prefecture as Shuntian. Empress Dowager Xiaohe
Empress Dowager Xiaohe (孝和皇太后; 1582 – 1619), of the Wang clan, was a Ming dynasty consort of the Taichang Emperor and the biological mother of Tianqi Emperor. Biography Lady Wang became a concubine of Taichang Emperor when he was the crown prince.She was chosen to be a concubine of Taichang Emperor with the rank of Lady of Selected Service (Chinese: 選侍; Pinyin: xuǎn shì), a third rank Consort of the Crown Prince. In December 1605, Lady Wang gave birth to Zhu Chanluo's first son who would become the Tianqi Emperor. Lady Wang was promoted to the rank of Talented Lady. In 1607, she gave birth to another son who lived only until 1610. When Zhu Youjian became emperor, he posthumously awarded his mother with title of ''Empress Dowager Xiaohe Gongxian Wenmu Huici Xietian Sheng'' and moved her tomb to  Qingling to be buried alongside her husband.
