Eastern Suburbs Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in East Brisbane, Queensland. The club is the most centrally located of all the semi-professional clubs in Brisbane, situated approximately from the city centre. Easts competes in the National Premier Leagues Queensland, in both the men's and women's competitions, and play their home games at Heath Park, East Brisbane. Heath Park is a multi-sport venue located at East Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is home to Eastern Suburbs F.C. Development In 2007, the club added 6 new dressing sheds toilets along with refurbishments to the clubhouse to update what was fast becoming worn out. In 2008, the Queensland Government handed a $250,000 grant to the Eastern Suburbs F.C. to re-turf the playing field, due to the drought Queensland had suffered. 2015 FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds
The 2015 FFA Cup preliminary rounds were a qualifying competition to decide 21 of the 32 teams which will take part in the 2015 FFA Cup Round of 32, along with the 10 A-League clubs and reigning National Premier Leagues champion (North Eastern MetroStars SC). The preliminary rounds operated within a consistent national structure whereby club entry into the competition was staggered in each state/territory, with the winning clubs from Round 7 of the preliminary rounds in each member federation gaining direct entry into the Round of 32. All Australian clubs were eligible to enter the qualifying process through their respective FFA member federation, however only one team per club was permitted entry in the competition. 2014 FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds
The 2014 FFA Cup preliminary rounds were a series of state-based knockout competitions, providing a qualification pathway for the 2014 FFA Cup, the Australian association football knockout cup competition. The majority of clubs entered the tournament through their respective state federations, in which they competed in a state-based cup tournament to progress to the overall Round of 32 of the competition. A total of 22 teams will qualify from these qualifying competitions, joining the 10 A-League clubs in the Round of 32. ACT ACT clubs qualified for the FFA Cup via the 2013 Federation Cup.
