East Kilbride RFC are a rugby union side who are based in East Kilbride. History Established in 1968, their home games are played at Torrance House. The team currently compete in the and play all their home games at the Magnificent Torrance House Arena, up at Calderglen. EKRFC moved to the Torrance Arena in 1971, which led to steady progress through the divisions, which finally saw them spend 3 seasons in Premier 2 and winning the BT shield. East Kilbride (; gd, Cille Bhrìghde an Ear ) is the largest town in South Lanarkshire in Scotland and the country's sixth-largest locality by population. Livingston Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. The men's side currently compete in , the women's side currently compete in . History Established in 1968, as Livingston and District RFC, the team was founded through a local appeal for players by Jack Nixon, a native of Langholm, who in the 1960s was the Youth Officer of the West Lothian County Council. Among his responsibilities was to assistance in setting up clubs and organisations for the newcomers to Livingston. History Beginning Irvine Royal Academy was predominantly a football playing school until the late forties when a rugby playing gym teacher arrived at the school. Harry "Stasher" Murray set about introducing rugby football to the uninitiated of Irvine. For twelve or so years, those who wished to continue playing rugby after school, had to travel to Ardrossan Academicals to play at the club there. Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. Euan Ferrie (born 10 May 1996) is a Scottish rugby union player who plays for Glasgow Warriors in the United Rugby Championship. He plays at Flanker and Lock. Colin Stewart (rugby Union)
Colin Stewart (born 6 January 1980 in Bellshill, Scotland) is a former Scotland Under 21 international rugby union player who played with Glasgow Warriors and Border Reivers. His regular playing position was Lock. Starting off playing mini-rugby, Stewart began his rugby career playing for East Kilbride RFC. His potential was spotted by the Glasgow District Rugby Union and he was selected as one of the Glasgow Thistle squad - then essentially an academy squad for Glasgow Warriors - that would receive rugby training in the summer of 1998 in New Zealand. The training was under the ex-Glasgow Warriors boss Kevin Greene. In the season 2000-01 he formally joined Glasgow. For the 2002-03 season Stewart joined Border Reivers. Fraser Stott (born 13 August 1969 in Cambuslang, Scotland) is a former Scottish rugby union player and coach who played for Glasgow Warriors at the Scrum-half position.
