ENTSOG
The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) is an association of Europe's transmission system operators (TSOs). ENTSOG was created on 1 December 2009 by 31 TSOs from 21 European countries. Creation of the ENTSOG was initiated by the adoption of the European Union third legislative package on the gas and electricity markets. It aims to promote the completion and cross-border trade for gas on the European internal market, and development of the European natural gas transmission network. According to the third energy package ENTSOG is required to develop an EU-wide ten-year gas network development plan. Amber Grid
AB Amber Grid is the main natural gas transmission operator in Lithuania. It was established in 2013 by spin-off of gas transmission operations from the gas company Lietuvos Dujos. Amber Grid owns all main pipelines in Lithuania, including natural gas compressor stations and natural gas metering and distribution stations. Amber Grid is a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG). N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie (short form: Gasunie) is a Dutch natural gas infrastructure and transportation company operating in the Netherlands and Germany. Gasunie owns the Netherlands gas transmission network with a total length of over and long network in Germany. History Gasunie was founded in 1963 as a public-private partnership of Royal Dutch Shell (25%), ExxonMobil (25%) and the state of the Netherlands (50%) to sell and distribute natural gas from the then recently discovered gasfield in the province of Groningen. Ervia, previously known as Bord Gáis or Bord Gáis Éireann (; meaning "Gas Board of Ireland"), is a multi-utility company distributing pipeline natural gas, water services and dark fibre services in Ireland. The state-owned company has built an extensive network across Ireland. DESFA
DESFA (National Natural Gas System Operator S.A.) is a natural gas transmission system operator in Greece. It was established on 30 March 2007 as a subsidiary of DEPA. In addition to the transmission system, the company also operates Greece's gas distribution networks, and the Revithoussa LNG Terminal. On 11 June 2013, Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR won the tender for acquisition of a 66% stake of DESFA for €400 million. Following Greece's January 2015 legislative election, the offered share was reduced to 49%. The deal, which was expected to be concluded by August 2015, failed in November 2016 as the last offer by SOCAR was rejected.
