Eşref Bilgiç
Eşref Bilgiç (14 November 1908 – 9 December 1992) was a Turkish international association football player and manager. He represented Turkey at senior level in 2 international encounters. Career Bilgiç spent almost his entire career at Beşiktaş J.K. between 1926 and 1947 where he achieved numerous local titles. Bilgiç represented Turkey at senior level at two occasions, including one encounter at 1931 Balkan Cup against Yugoslavia, ended 2–0 in favour of Turkey. He scored once at friendly game against Bulgaria which ended 3–2 for Bulgaria on 4 November 1932. Bilgiç managed Beşiktaş J.K. in 1957. Balkan Cup
The Balkan Cup (officially ''Coupe Balkanique de Football'') was an international association football competition contested on and off from 1929 to 1980 by countries from the Balkans region. The most successful team was Romania with four titles. Overview The first edition featured Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria and was played over three years from 1929 to 1931. All teams played each other twice, home and away, and were awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw, with final ranking table determining the winner. Romania won the first title with a game in hand after beating Yugoslavia 4–2. The Prime Minister's Cup () was a association football, football competition organised by the Turkish Football Federation in Turkey. It began in 1944 and continued until 1950 as a unique kind of super cup competition between the winners of the Turkish Football Championship and the Turkish National Division. It was one of the earliest super cups in the world. Turkish National Division
The National Division or National League () was a top-level football competition organised by the Turkish Football Federation, including the most successful teams from Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir in Turkey. It was the first national league in Turkish football history. The league was played from 1937 to 1950.
