Expo (magazine)
''Expo'' is a Swedish anti-racist magazine started in 1995 by Stieg Larsson. It is issued by the non-profit Expo Foundation (''Stiftelsen Expo''). The magazine, issued four times a year, contains investigative journalism focused on nationalist, racist, anti-democratic, antisemitic, and far-right movements and organisations. It also publishes articles and podcasts on the Internet on a more regular basis. The people responsible for ''Expo'' make no connections with specific organisations or political parties, but work together with individuals and organisations that share ''Expo''s platform. The chairman of the Expo Foundation is Charles Westin. The magazine is headquartered in Stockholm. Daniel Poohl
Daniel Poohl (born 11 August 1981) is a Swedish journalist and publicist who served as publisher (''ansvarig utgivare'') and CEO of the ''Expo'' magazine. Biography Poohl was born in Vänersborg. He grew up in Åsensbruk in Dalsland and studied media at Sinclairgymnasiet in Uddevalla. During his time at the national guard training he did journalism work for ''Värnpliktsnytt'', a newspaper for the soldiers. He started working at ''Expo'' at the age of twenty in 2001. Poohl became a known name in 2001 when he infiltrated the Nationaldemokraterna party to make a report that was broadcast on the show Folkhemmet on TV3. Poohl became the editorial assistant at ''Expo'' after the death of Stieg Larsson in 2004 and became the editor-in-chief in 2006. Bilan Osman (born 1992) is a Swedish journalist, opinion columnist and anti-racism activist. Early life and education She was born in Gothenburg to parents from Somalia, a chemistry professor and an activist, and raised in Partille. Her paternal grandfather, Nor Osman, was a poet. Nordic Resistance Movement
The Nordic Resistance Movement is a pan-Nordic neo-Nazi movement in the Nordic countries and a political party in Sweden. Besides Sweden, it is established in Norway, Denmark and Iceland, and formerly in Finland before it was banned in 2019. Terrorism expert Magnus Ranstorp has described the NRM as a terrorist organization due to their aim of abolishing democracy along with their paramilitary activities and weapons caches. Tess Asplund (born 1974) is a Swedish activist who gained attention following her protest against neo-Nazis in Borlänge, Sweden. David Lagerlof photographed a viral image of Asplund, which showed her facing uniformed members of the Swedish Nordic Resistance Movement with her fist in the air. Anne-Christine Ramberg (born 26 August 1952) is a Swedish lawyer and since 2000 the general secretary for the Swedish Bar Association (''Sveriges advokatsamfund'').
